Jason Puz

Jason Puz was born on July 22nd, 1987 in Lakewood, Washington. He moved to Olympia, Washington in 1998, and graduated from Olympia High school in 2005 among the top 10% of the graduating class of Washington. He will be attending Washington State University at the start of the 2005-06 school year, during which time he is currently planning to study Political Science and History.

Jason first became involved with youth rights when the lack of youth voting rights was first brought to his attention. In response to this injustice he helped to form the Washington Youth Voting Rights Society (WAYVRS), in which he served as the organizations first president. Jason was one of three people who were instrumental in getting a bill proposed into the Washington State Legislature that would lower the voting age to 16. He continues to serve WAYVRS as the treasurer and webmaster.
